About For Your Show
For Your Show brings community theatre together in one place: companies run their auditions, callbacks, rehearsals and performances, performers find and apply for them, and audiences see what is on near them.
Who it is for
- Theatre companies list their company and shows, run auditions with scheduling and panel scoring, and keep rehearsals and performances organised.
- Performers, musicians and crew find auditions near them, apply, keep a record of their past work, and see where they stand.
- Audiences browse the shows and companies on near them.
How it is designed
Three ideas shape the decisions we make.
Privacy first
We collect only what is needed for the job in front of us, and we are careful with personal and audition information. A company sees what is relevant to its own auditions, a public profile is something you choose to publish, and younger performers can take part with a parent or guardian looking after the account.
Auditability and accountability
Important actions are recorded so they can be traced. That supports transparency for the people who run auditions and responsible administration of the service.
Trust and user control
Who can see what should be easy to understand, and your information should not be exposed more widely than it needs to be. You decide what to share, and you can review and change it.
