Terms of Service

Last updated 17 September 2026

These terms govern your use of For Your Show, a platform for theatre companies and performers to manage auditions, callbacks, rehearsals and performances. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

Your account

  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • Performers under 18 may hold an account with a parent or guardian retaining access and oversight.
  • You can deactivate or request deletion of your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone.

Company listings

  • Anyone creating a company or show listing must have the authority to do so and must keep the listed information accurate.
  • We verify company listings on a best-effort basis (e.g. contact confirmation, public web presence) but don't guarantee the accuracy of any listing's content — that responsibility rests with the company that submitted it.
  • We may remove a listing, suspend an account, or decline a claim request if we reasonably believe it's fraudulent, abusive, or violates these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Impersonate a person, company or venue you're not authorized to represent.
  • Submit false audition applications, reviews, or company information.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, bot protection, or other security controls.
  • Use the site to harass, discriminate against, or endanger another user.
  • Scrape or bulk-extract data from the site beyond normal browsing.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of the content you submit (profiles, bios, headshots, show and company listings). By submitting it, you grant us a license to host, display and process it as needed to operate the service — for example, showing your audition application to the company you applied to, or your public profile to visitors if you've chosen to publish one.

Only submit content you own or have permission to use. We respond to copyright complaints as described in our Copyright and Takedown Policy.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep For Your Show available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may update these terms from time to time — continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Liability

For Your Show is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for casting decisions, scheduling conflicts, or disputes between performers and companies — those relationships and their outcomes are between you and the other party.
