Delete your data
How to remove your data from For Your Show, including what a Facebook, Google, Microsoft or Apple sign-in gave us.
What a social sign-in stores
When you sign in with Facebook (or another provider), For Your Show keeps the provider's user ID, the email address and avatar it shared, and the access tokens it issued. We use them only to sign you in and to show your avatar.
Disconnect Facebook
- Sign in and open Settings → Security.
- Find Facebook under connected accounts and choose Disconnect.
- Your Facebook ID, email, avatar link and tokens are deleted straight away.
If Facebook is your only way to sign in, set a password or connect another sign-in method first; you can't disconnect your last one.
Delete your whole account
- Sign in and open Settings → Danger zone.
- Request account deletion.
Your account is deactivated immediately and anonymized after a 14-day grace period, giving you time to change your mind. You can download a copy of your data first from Settings → Export my data.
Remove the app from Facebook
You can also remove For Your Show in your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites (Business Integrations). That stops Facebook sharing new data with us, but it doesn't delete what we already hold; use the steps above for that.
